Team Information and Rules

The $75 tournament fee will be paid by the individual registering the team.  It is their responsibility to collect payments from individuals on their team to cover the fee.

Event schedules will be sent to the person who registered the team the week prior to the event.

For the Youth 3v3 - only players and coaches/managers will be allowed on the turf/fields.  Parents/fans can be on the track in the stands.

For the Prep 3v3 – we are encouraging the players to coach/manage their own team.  Coaches and parents choosing to attend are encouraged to stay off the turf and let the players take charge.

Youth teams will be organized by birth-year age groups as we realize most players will be coming from summer teams. Players can only participate on one team.

For the U14 age group, we are encouraging those going into 8th grade to play in the Youth Event, and those entering 9th grade to play in the Prep Event.

HS players:  We are planning to have a 9/10 grade bracket and a 11/12 grade bracket for each gender.  Please set teams accordingly.  This is a great leadership opportunity!  Reach out, get others involved, and make sure everyone is included.  Remember, the goal is a fun and competitive us achieve that goal!

Each team should plan to wear the same uniform/shirt – it does not need to be a club/high school uniform or have numbers/names.  We encourage some creativity and fun in selecting/designing your team names and uniforms, but please keep in mind they should be appropriate for athletic competition.  Scrimmage vests will be available at each field if needed.

Any part of the ball or player's body on the line is considered in the goal box; the player is an extension of the box. An INFRACTION occurs if a defender touches the ball in the goal box, a penalty kick is awarded to the offensive team. If an offensive player touches the ball within the goal box, a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team. Habitual touches in the goal box MAY result with a Yellow Card given to offending party. If the ball comes to a complete stop in the goal box, regardless of which team touched it last, a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team. The goals are approximately 4 feet high by 8 feet wide.
